JTP Associates, Inc. was founded in 2013 by Jim Pye, who has over 40 years of experience in sales of a wide range of textile machinery and mill supplies. Jim received both his B.S and M.S. in Textile Engineering and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Earlier in his career he was a textile product development specialist with B.F. Goodrich in Akron, Ohio and later worked for Bibb Manufacturing in Macon, Georgia as Director of Quality Control of their Industrial Products Division. He was the corporate voting member representing Bibb for ASTM and served on several ASTM committees. After leaving Bibb, he was the Northeast US/Canadian Sales Manager for a South Carolina-based textile machinery sales agency.
He has also written several articles for textile trade journals and has done consulting for a number of companies during his career. Jim is well versed in all phases of textile manufacturing and organized JTP Associates, Inc. as a sales agency for a number of textile machinery manufacturers and mill supply companies.
